Liza Janovicz

Psychologist, HR Manager, Equine-Assisted Therapist, Equestrian Instructor

  • I earned my diploma in psychology at the University of Pécs in 2015, then I continued my PhD studies at the Doctoral School of Eötvös Loránd University as a member of the Developmental Neuropsychology and Addiction Research Group.

  • Besides pschology, I have also been interested in the dynamics of human relationships at the organizational level, so I studied  and earned my MSc degree in HR Management at the University of Buckingham.

  • At Harvard University, I studied "International Relations" and "HR Management" for three years as postgraduate certification studies.

  • My "innate" love for horses made me pursue equine studies, so at the Michigan State University, I studied "Equine Science" (equine anatomy, biomechanics, feeding, and equine biomechanics.)

  • My love and admiration for horses dates back to childhood and quickly made clear that horses will play an important role in my life and work. I always felt that it is my duty to share the healing power of horses with as many people as possible, but mostly with those people who want to heal with the empowering power of animals.

  • I am a graduate of Psychological Equine Therapy from the Hungarian Equestrian Therapy Association  (equestrian exam pending due to COVID).

  • I am a certified equestrian instructor and trainer.

  • I spent a significant part of my childhood abroad, I grew up in France (have spent 12 years there) and then I continued my studies in the US. Throughout my life, I have met people of different nationalities with different cultures, which has profoundly influenced and enlarged my perspectives regarding life, people, coping skills and behavior in general. Continuous adaptation and has taught me to approach problems from different point of views without being judgmental .

  •  It would be an honor to empower international patients as well as Hungarian-speaking adults and children in their self-management of anxiety, stress or any kind of life "crisis" they are experiencing.

  • Spoken languages:

  • Hungarian (mother tongue)

  • French (mother tongue)

  • English (professional working proficiency)

  • Spanish (basic)
